Very tasty regional dishes in a nice ambience. Hotel room very spacious with a great bathroom and a view of the mountain panorama, but (!) Unfortunately very, very noisy! We slept right above the kitchen and other guests moved their furniture back and forth in the rack above us. Pity

Was eating at the post office for the first time and my girlfriend has often been. Right next to the beautiful beer garden is a children's playground, children tidy and under control. Food was phenomenal and the service really Upper Bavarian. Inside they also have a big one that is sure to make a good mood in the cold seasons. Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good food and drink selection at fair prices. Terrace space by telephone reservation. Playground in the immediate vicinity. The form of cashing out is worthy of criticism: After asking for the total bill (approx. 20 items) the waiter appeared shortly afterwards with his electronic control panel and stated the total amount of all food and drinks. I trusted him and paid. If I had wanted to check the bill or take it with me, I would have had to accept the waiter's offer and wait for the receipt that was then printed out. In my opinion, the guest should be given the opportunity to view the bill before the amount is announced.

Great hotel, very nice rooms. The star deduction is available for the rather sparse breakfast in the draughty, uncomfortable breakfast room and for the horrible Allgäu cheese sparrows the evening before, which were lukewarm, too little and almost without cheese. Absolutely unworthy of an Allgäu. I can't understand the good reviews on the food.

A very pleasant and idyllic beer garden with an impeccable menu and good food. We had a wonderful evening. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I can only recommend it. We will be back!

The restaurant is truly superb, for a nice typical German dinner it is definitely to be recommended. The hotel was not quite up to par in terms of communicating terraces between rooms and ours was facing the street with a night lamp that practically illuminated us in daylight

You can sit nicely in the large garden with a dream view. The food is excellent and gluten-free can be cooked on request.

Highly Recommended. Munich is a stone's throw away and the lake is like the Bodensee in small. Plenty of hiking trails, lots of traditional Bavarian architecture and castles around the lake. There are ships that make the various municipalities / cities easily accessible. If you want to stay for a week, there is plenty to visit and see. It's also not as crowded as Lake Constance. About the inn: everything is mixed modern and traditional, what should be modern is. There is a new elevator, fresh toilets in a cool design and the restaurant impresses with top service and a good selection. The view on the large terrace is awesome. It couldn't be more beautiful. We tried the entire menu and were thrilled. Again I would like to point out that you are right in front of Munich. The prices are not for the student budget, but absolutely consistent with the quality and offer. The rooms were extremely cheap and offer everything you want. Only a thinner blanket would have been nice in midsummer. Air conditioning available, thermostat-controlled. Everything was very clean, nowhere to see a lime stain or dust. The crowning glory: right in front of the inn is a well-equipped Edeka with everything you need or want.

Very unfriendly, the waiter in charge was extremely rude, the food was mediocre. Nice view, but not worth it. Unless they train their personnel, not a place I would recommend. Prepare to get insulted, and then left waiting for over twenty minutes as punishment.

We were at your restaurant on Sunday (05.07.20) at about 15:00. We were located outside with the nice view. Everything seemed to be perfect. In short- A waiter was simply rude. We asked him to bring beer for my friend and a meal for me since I had to go in 25 min. He aggressively told that we can eat only together. My friend answered that he will just drink for now. Then the waiter took my fiend's cutlery grumbling something under his breath. My friend told, "wait please, I will eat later". And so on, I don't want to describe in more details all these unfriendly behavior. We were just tired to go away and look for another place to eat. Please train your personal to be polite to the people who spend their money in your place! P.S. greeting to yours cooks, they are Pro!

The place is decorated in a mixture if traditional/modern way. The room was spacious and very clean. The service in the restaurant is very friendly and always come around to see, if you need something. We had the perfect time here.

A beautiful hotel, great food and service. We had a room with a terrace, where we could sit in the morning with a cup of coffe and enjoy the view. The breakfast is not the biggest, but is good quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Nice inn, which is located just above Lake Starnberg. In the rooms and in the whole hotel details of the old use for stagecoaches were taken up again and again, which are really successful. Nevertheless, the rooms are modern and spacious. Only the air conditioning was set in the room so cold that you have frozen. Unfortunately, the setting has repeatedly pulled out when pulling out the card. The beer garden is nice and in good weather you have a wonderful view. Furthermore, there are some playground equipment for children including cable car. The food and beer were good, but priced a bit higher. But the quality was right.

Always very good there. Food great! And a nice secluded playground outside. I do not know the hotel rooms, but the restaurant is to be recommended.

It seems we have selected an especially chaotic weekend but honestly nothing worked for our stay: rooms reservations were not found, the 6-months-previously made restaurant reservation has vanished. For the rooms: Two out of four were shoe-box-size without stationary or hotel amenities whats-or-ever

Great attentive staff, beautiful scenery of the alps in the morning. English friendly and overall good experience after staying multiple times. Atmosphere is very welcoming. Authentic Bavarian food and beers are always a highlight.

Food is very good. Had steak that was cooked perfect medium and Wiener schnitzel was cooked perfect as well. The view is nice and there's a playground for the kids. Men get surprised with funny urinals. If it's crowded expect a wait for your food. But quality takes time.
